oneworld Multi-Carrier 「寰宇一家」聯盟成員獎勵換算表,5月24日Asia Miles公怖咗改制會6月22日加價!但講真個加價幅度真係唔算大,仲有5個stopovers停留,2個open jaw中斷行程,2個transit轉機,現時Asia Miles新制變咗單程制,6月22日起再無Asia Miles標準兌換表格多 i.e. 2 stopover 1 open-jaw 2 transit),所以要玩多點行程你就要學識玩oneworld。(5月24日更新)加入新制舊制後嘅需要里數對比,睇%好似加咗好多咁但睇返個absolute numebr嚟講對里數富戶嚟講其實個加幅係可以接受。

適合應用oneworld Multi-Carrier 「寰宇一家」聯盟成員獎勵換算表兌換機票的情況:

  • 基本上只要兌換跨洲long haul行程而且打算坐Business/First,都可以試一下睇下oneworld Multi-Carrier會唔會抵D,成個玩法係飛得越遠距離越著數(當然前題要係合適你自己)
  • (非常適合) 已打算動用130,000 (新制計) 或以上Asia Miles換歐洲或美洲點對點Business商務客位的人士,多加35,000里可以多換2次以上short haul商務來回日本/東南亞
  • (新制下多幾個trips反而更著數嘅情況) 新制下用business飛美洲特別貴,飛New York點對點來回已經要170,000里,但如果你識用oneworld嚟砌反而可以用少啲Asia Miles (低至155,000 AM)嚟出到18,000英哩

  • 利用oneworld chart的思維: 先前介紹Asia Miles換機票標準兌換表嘅玩法係用「里數」換「單程距離」,用Asia Miles oneworld chart嘅思維一樣,但改變了的是以上oneworld表格代表「加總距離」及整個行程需要有3家oneworld成員,包括CX/KA
  • 為什麼里先生話已經打算用12萬換歐美business(新制13萬)點對點行程嘅朋友最合適玩oneworld? 因為你只要肯俾多3.5萬里(共14萬里,新制16.5萬里)可以獲得20,000英哩的飛行距離而且有最多5個stopovers + 2 open-jaw + 2 transit,令你整個行程可以加添好很多停留國家/城市

  • (條件: 一條route中需要有3家oneworld成員,包括CX或KA)
  • 同一旅程中包括三間或以上「寰宇一家」聯盟航空公司,其中一間為國泰航空/國泰港龍航空,oneworld成員包括CX/KA,BA,JL,RJ,AY,QF,QR,S7,UL,MH,IB,LA,AA (唔識睇呢D airline codes可以睇以下的長寫列點及該航空公司的基地),記得oneworld成員唔係指Asia Miles Partners (e.g. 換去蘇梅嘅曼谷航空PG/中國國航CA都唔係oneworld成員)
  • (條件: 由香港HKG出發,final destination需為HKG)
  • 以上里先生例子,第一程出發為HKG-NRT,Final destination為NGO-HKG
  • (條件: 出票日起計12個月內飛完,如其中一程沒有上機i.e. no-show,往後所有航班會被取消)
  • 所有飛行獎勵機票的有效期均為簽發日起計之12個月內
  • (條件: 出票必須網上填form等回覆或打電話,online無法直接兌換)
  • 換機票form→連結(需login),Asia Miles hotline 普通會員: 2747 3838// Marco Polo Club: 2747 5500 (Green/Sliver/Gold) 2747 3888 (Diamond)

計劃oneworld Multi-Carrier 「寰宇一家」方法教學及策略

  1. 要識分stopover,open-jaw,transit,唔識分而比較低能D嘅方法就用「梯形大法」,先前係Asia Miles換機票教學(標準表格)有分享過,以下再重溫
  2. 計劃完,要睇成唔成立就數返你有幾多個顏色的梯形(如按照里先生梯形大法,你不會超過5個紅色,2個藍色),計算多少里數出票就去 https://www.asiamiles.com/en/afr.html 到check返
  3. 要計劃多點行程/計算實際飛行距離可以利用Great Circle Mapper,你只需要輸入兩地機場代號中間加個「-」e.g. HKG-NRT於「Paths」>「Draw Map」,就可以計算出實際飛行距離(可以多地同時計算,你可以copy里先生嘅行程,剔除所有括號內的字放落去試下)
  4. 實行膽拖兩腳,就以上里先生例子,膽為飛加拿大long haul行程,價值高而機位也是相對難獲得的,所以建議未有機位都早一點打電話/填form去落咗waitlist先,有CX AE Elite card免費成為MPC馬可孛羅會 Green member就可以同一行程wait三班國泰航班,增加得到你理想航班嘅機會 (除CX/KA以外,其他oneworld航空公司不可以落waitlist,需於出票時instant confirm)
  5. 其中兩隻腳的意思是指根據oneworld換法的ticket rules中最少要有三間航空公司,作為香港人國泰(CX/KA)基本上係必用,餘下的兩隻腳未搵得齊我就建議用於行程中加一程去日本(或其中一程內陸機)用到日航JL,再加程皇家約旦航空RJ由泰國返香港(當然你去歐洲可以用到BA/IB,或是經停一下QR再轉機歐洲各城市,再或是加上馬航MH,
  6. (好重要,學識Check有無機位) 國泰CX/KA航班就去返國泰兌換機票→網頁(需login)到check,其他oneworld航班就建議去英航BA兌換機票網頁到check→ Avios check可兌換位教學 (雖然係BA到check到有位並不代表Asia Miles 100%有位,但雖不中亦不遠矣,可作參考用途),如果你真係搵嚟搵去都搵唔到(特別係頭等),可以用到澳航系統成個月咁睇,詳情及教學可睇返→用oneworld chart換國泰頭等航線篇文章
  7. 有定心理準備你理想嘅航班未必即時有位,試下利用轉機/改日子去就返個時間。如果你捨得就出咗張票鎖死咗個膽或非CX/KA嘅航班先(因為無得入waitlist),其後再改時間(需要打電話改,每人每班US$40或4,000里)

Asia Miles換機票教學 Stopover vs Open-jaw 梯形大法

每單程之間最後跟最前的英文字比較(放個梯形落去),相同(城市)的就係stopover不同(城市)的就係open-jaw

  • 里先生所述呢個低能大法首先要你將所有單程機程(包括埋轉機)列做同一行表示
  • 例如我由香港出發直飛大阪會列作HKG-KIX,香港出發經台灣轉機去大阪會列作HKG-TPE-KIX
  • 轉機transit嘅就列係同一列上,少於24小時的停留就是transit,多於24小時就係stopover,transit唔會影響到你點樣去分stopover/ open jaw,佢只係一個轉機點帶你去下一個目的地
  • 再將你每單程之間最後跟最前的英文字比較(放個梯形落去),相同(城市)的就係stopover,不同(城市)的就係open-jaw。
  • 如果以Oneworld個條款要求嚟講,一條成立嘅route唔可以超過5個紅色梯形+2個藍色梯形。以下有圖表解說

係計劃你嘅oneworld機票途中可能會遇到唔知有無oneworld嘅機搭,而oneworld換機票好重要嘅法則就係要fly with oneworld members。比較高階去搵出A城市到B城市嘅方法就用Google ITA,但比較複雜先不作討論。而里先生覺得Flightsfrom.com呢個免費工具都唔錯,可以查閱各機場有咩航班飛去邊,仲可以sorting埋oneworld members。以下俾埋short links已經於各航點sorting咗oneworld成員嘅機,方便你睇返唔同oneworld成員hubs有咩機可以飛。

    里先生,請問你有無實測過依家日航business class 機位數量?
    玩one world 要三間航空公司,好多時要用到日航黎湊夠數,但依家似乎好難搵到business放位(例如以前NRT-YVR都幾易換,但依家日日都無,得返premium economy同economy)
    同埋想問下用日航網站登入會員獎勵機票用asiamiles係咪換唔到?

        12~14天o既trip 好難再加多一度地方去, 行程好趕 ! 其實去澳洲90000里 (Biz) + 其他地方一齊去, 飛行距離一定長左, 好容由zone5 跌去zone 7/8 ! 反而去歐洲 + 亞洲地區就唔覺加長好多 ! 我地係只換澳洲就算 !

    HKG-DUS-HAV (before bankruptcy of Air Berlin) / SCL-SYD / MEL-HKG-FUK-HKG
    It was 160K AM before, and 185K under the new scheme
    Some comment on visiting Latin American
    1. LAN is the major airline in South America which flies to almost all tourist destinations, but it doesn’t allow one way ticket redemption.
    2. SCL is a good hub for Peru (Machu Piccu) and Chile (Antarctica and Easter Island), it’s the easiest using QF to fly there via SYD if round trip isn’t an option.
    3. IB J class is simply amazing, it is good for EZE/GRU/BOG via MAD, but again cannot redeem one way tickets
    4. Flying to Central America is better with BA via LHR if you want to save the troubles getting USA visa

    I’ve been following your blog for some time and I finally decided it’s time to redeem some tickets! I do have some questions for you, though. Please excuse me for using English because my Cantonese is not very good.

    CX redemption tickets to Japan are always fully booked and always end up having to go on waitlist! =( I want to ask if I choose waitlist, how long until they can confirm if there are seats? If there are no seats, I assume I’m allowed to reschedule (change flight date or flight number only) or can I cancel the entire booking and restart again (ie. change flight date AND flight number)?

    If the ticket is valid for 12 months from date of issuance, and changes in flight date only or flight number only are allowed (at no charge!), then that means I can book my entire ticket now, for March/April/May 2018, and once rewards for September/October 2018 open, I can quickly change the dates to September/October?

    Here’s my tentative itinerary for reference:

    HKG-KIX (1st Open Jaw, JL)
    HND-HKG (1st Stopover, LAN)
    HKG-LHR (2nd Stopover, CX)
    LHR-PRG (2nd Open Jaw, BA)
    BRU-HKG (3rd Stopover, CX)
    HKG-CJU (4th, Stopover, CX)
    CJU-HKG (Destination, CX)

      Thank you for your support!
      firstly i think you have to be clear the reschedule and re-issue are not free of charge after your confirmed your booking (i.e. after payment for tax and subcharge)
      -The charge for reschedule is 4,000 miles or US$40 per flight per person
      -The charge for re-issue is 12,000 miles or US$120 (change your entire ticket)
      -The only thing free of charge is change your flight before confirmation of ticket (that’s mean making payment for tax and subcharge)
      So the strategy should be made your preferred flights on waitlist first and issue the ticket once all flights are confirmed

      Your itinerary is valid but one point to remind code share flight of HND-HKG is operated by CX and that’s it is CX instead of LAN but anyway as you got 3 oneworld flights already so your ticket is still valid

          Yes you could combine if it is in the same ticket. You better to have Marco Polo green to make you to have 3 waitlist quota which increased your chance to be have seats

            Yes, I will have MPC Silver by next year so I think the chances are not great but at least OK.

            My next question is if I use CX for one trip, and KA for the other trip, does this count as two oneworld carriers, or only one oneworld carrier?

    Mr Miles, I just redeem 2 business (@120,000 mileage) and 2 premium economy (@72,000) tickets at the end of March 2018 with the following flights :-

    1. HKG-LHR (1 stop over) (5994 miles) (BA)
    2. LHR-ZRH (1 stop over) (491 miles) (BA)
    3. ZRH-LHR-HKG (1 transit + 1 stop over) (491 miles + 5994 miles) (BA+BA)

    May I know if I want to join the One World, the calculation of miles is 12970 miles (1+2+3+4) or 6976 miles (2+3+4)?

    According to the table above, 115,000 所需里數 for business can redeem 10,001 – 14,000 實際飛行距離(哩數, ), so how many miles I still can use? (Scenario A-14000-12970=1020) or (Scenario B-14000-6976=7024)? But how about the case for premium economy as the table does not show?

    If for Scenario A, 1020, I think I can just redeem one more return flight to and from TPE by CX, but if only 1 WO + 1 CX, is it possible?

    If for the Scenario B 7024, then it seems that I could have more choices for getting 2 more return flights between Japan / BKK / Taiwan. Is it correct?

    Since I have redeemed the ticket already, if I really want to add 1 or 2 more trips (if possible), shall I just call Asia Mile again and add the trip or I have to pay US$40 per trip?

    Sorry for the long story and really appreciate for your detailed explanation of the methodology for redemption of free air-tickets. I really learn so much, Thanks a lot!!

      Hello TK,
      You made the questions so specific and easy to understand! Before answering your questions, one thing to remind you Oneworld chart (“OW chart”)and Asia miles standard chart (“AM chart”) are two different charts with different rules. The major difference in respect of the limitation and calculation of distance (mi), as listed above, are (1) OW chart required at least 3 oneworld member flights in the ticket, including CX/KA, (2) OW chart calculate the distance in “Total” but AM chart in “Inbound/outbound”, whichever is longer.

      Alright, for your questions,
      1. calculate in 1+2+3+4, using Total
      2. Scenario A
      3. No, as you just got 2 OW members in the ticket, including CX
      4. You could call but it will consider as “re-issue” case as you are not solely change in flight time, US$100 has to be charged

      Last thing to advice. If you are looking for a ticket being more “worth” and adding more stopovers like my example, you could re-issue the ticket and adding one more japan return ticket and one more Thailand return trip (using the 3rd OW member RJ) but it costs you US$100 to re-issue ticket and 40,000 asia miles more to buy the total distance of 20,000 mi.

        哩先生,謝謝你的回覆和紏正了我一些誤解,剛才不懂用keyboard打中文,現在用手寫板寫中文可以順暢一些。但我還是有一些問題:-
        (1)由於我的哩數不足,所以換了两套120000哩的歐洲商務飛票,你說可以像你一様各加多20000來換取多一次日本來回和泰國來回機票,但我另外有兩套72000的premium economy,這兩套應該加多少分才可以與以上兩套商務出一樣的機票呢?因為Asia Mile 個表只有economy ,business 同 first class 之分,
        (2)如果我想買哩數,是否用$180買DBS$48來換每一千哩比較化算呢?還有沒有其他比較便宜的方法呢?
        (3)如果我願意比US100 reissue 之前的機票,會不會Asia Mile CS 那邊一cancel再出就比人換咗呢?因為我要改四張,時間可能有些長
        (4)另外,我不是太明白為什麼在你的例子中6.HKG-BKK, 7.BKK-HKG 係open jaw? 因為唔同機場出入?
        (5)由於我有兩個小朋友,兌換機票多是旺季,我相信很難換多一程日本和泰國來回,如在情非得已之下,只可換多一程日本來回,但為求要用三間One world 成員機票,我可否只出一張單程RJ from BKK放在最後一程來完事,而只比一程稅而最後係用不著這張票呢?
        (6)又或在日本來回航班中出多一程JL機票呢

            里先生,謝謝你的解答,現在明白了許多。可是還有事情想請教,在Asia Mile redeem ticket 的版面中如何看到JL的航班呢?因為看了許多航線包括CTS,KIX,NRT,NGO,FUK 都只有CX或KA的航班,是否要打上hotline 才可以問有沒有JL的航班轉機呢?泰國的也難找到RJ啊

            另外,除了RJ,有邊間OW係同HKG 最短距離而湊到三間OW呢?謝謝你
